Leaves and Rain made for a clogged drain.

Heavy rains and strong winds are the hallmark of storms in the Pacific Northwest. Part of the issue with our beautiful landscape is the amount of leaves on the trees. In a storm situation the leaves fall and get blown all over the place. Typically, the rain and the wind is just part of a normal day, but couple those wind and rainy days with a bunch of leaves blocking drain and you have a situation perfect for flooding.

The roads flood, drain get plugged and eventually homes start to flood as the rain has nowhere to go. 

SERVPRO of Bellingham was recently called to help clean up and dry out a finished basement that flooded due to heavy rain and a drain plugged with leaves. We quickly got to work and created a drying environment that expedited the process. The homeowner was happy to have called SERVPRO because our crew work knew what to do and helped them get back to life as normal.
