Water Damaged Wood Floor in Bellingham, WA.
The supply line to the bathroom toilet failed and water damaged a beautiful wood floor in Bellingham, WA.
The first picture shows the floor starting to cup. The cupping of a wood floor occurs when too much moisture has come in contact with the flooring material. Typically, we try to save the floor, but because of the amount and time that the water had affected the floor we knew that the only remedy was removal.
Our technicians onsite took special care to remove the wet flooring and save the rest of the floor. After drying the underlayment the floor would be repaired with extra flooring the owner had saved from the original pack.
Our customer was thrilled with the results and so was the crew.
