Second Story Water Damage Ruined the Kitchen
This plumbing failure occurred in the second story bathroom, but the brunt of the damage happened on the first floor where the kitchen was located.
The ceiling and coffers were full of water and the paint was bubbling with gallon sized balloons of water. Dishes and glasses in the kitchen cabinet were full of water and the counters were loaded with appliances and utensils with standing water on them. The floor was warped and light fixtures doubled as fish bowls. SERVPRO of Bellingham was contacted to assist in the drying and stabilization of the environment. Due to the extent of the damage the entire kitchen needed to be removed.
