Most of our storm situations are due to torrential downpours, an elevated water table and high winds, but every few years we get sustained freezing temperature.

The long lasting effects are sometimes hidden in walls. Exterior walls to be more specific. A frozen hose bib on an exterior wall went undetected for months, but the home owner found it the first day they tried to use the hose in the front yard. They heard the water in the wall, felt the water on their feet in the bedroom and knew exactly who to call.
