Flooded Basement in Historical Downtown Bellingham, Washington.

Contributing factors included rain, sewer, mechanical failures and time when this enormous water loss was called into SERVPRO of Bellingham. The flooded basement was in one of Bellingham's historic downtown brick buildings.

It took a multi-faceted coordinated effort led by SERVPRO to haul tons of debris from the underbelly of this building. We then had to pump thousands of gallons of water, waste water and sewage from the area. This work took the better part of a week during which time we found the main culprit causing the sewer leak.

We then got to work disinfecting and sanitizing the entire structure and supports. The drying process was handled quickly and efficiently but our trained technicians.
